Reporting and Patterns in Action 4.0

In Patterns in Action 4.0, there are reporting functions. So, I would like to know how to apply the report layer in the solution?
Is the report object (i.e. Crystal Reports) hosted in the Service Layer or Hosting Layer or Presentation Layer?  Also, how can the client retrieve a report?

I would also like to know how to implement reporting in a Patterns in Action type solution, I have looked at both Crystal Reports (only handles objects in that project, surely I don't put reports in the Model) and DevExpress (cannot handle calculated fields of a nested Business Object ie. CustomerOrders in Patterns in Action in the Designer). Can anyone suggest a reporting tool suitable for multi tiered pattern solutions.
